Nice cafes / places to hang out with a laptop in Ahmedabad?
Hi there,
I'll be spending about a month working in Ahmedabad and just wondered if anyone knows of any nice cafes and/or hotel lobbies / restaurants where I could spend time drinking tea and working on my laptop without being considered a pest? (i.e. places where you could maybe pass an hour or two). I'll be at my job during the day so I'm thinking of places mainly for post 5pm.
I've been to Ahmedabad very briefly once before, but didn't get my bearings at all!
(If anyone happens to know Anokhi or Amethyst in Chennai, anywhere like those places would be perfect!! Leafy and laid back.....but failing that, any nice cafe recommendations v. gratefully received!)
Cheers,
Tennis

Hey,
I've been Living in Ahmedabad for the past month or so and have been on a search for a good cafe in which to work on my laptop. So far it has been slim pickings if you are looking for internet. Thus far I have found Turquoise Cafe - near to central mall at the big crossroads (CG road and something else). Cafe Coffe day is good if you do not need internet but the upstairs room in Turquoise is a nice place to chill and get your internet fix.
