Left Luggage facility at Ahmedabad airport?

I am planning my trip to India and have already purchased tickets to Ahmedabad in order to visit Mount Abu and Udaipur. I intend to spend 4 days on this detour, but don't want to carry all my baggage around. So I need to find out if there is a cloakroom/left luggage facility at the domestic airport at Ahmedabad.

Another question, I will be landing at Ahmedabad at 20:30 PM, would it be advisable to spend the night at a hotel in Ahmedabad and then travel to Mount Abu in the morning? Or would you rather travel in the night and reach Abu in the morning? What would you recommend for reaching there? Are there private luxury buses plying for Abu? Are they available in the morning? It would be very nice if someone could guide me on this matter.
Thanks in advance.

I've no idea about the airport, but there is a secure place to leave your luggage at the train station, but you have to make sure every compartment (that contains anything) of every bit of luggage is locked, they are very strict about this.

I can't remember the price per day, but it is a very small amount.

Mt. Abu is about 240kms from Ahmedabad, there will be great transport options, but the journey should take about 5-6 hours so isn't ideal given your arrival time.

A better option would be to go from Ahmedabad to Udaipur, then to Mt. Abu, then back to Ahmedabad.

Train 9944 departs Ahmedabad daily at 23:15 and gets to Udaipur at 07:40.

2-tier air con = Rs 567
First Class = Rs 451 (not air con)
Sleeper Class = Rs 154 (not air con)

The train from Udaipur to Ahmedabad is poorly timed, arriving in Ahmedabad at 04:00 in the morning.

Stay the night in Ahmedabad and catch a morning train for Abu Road.
By going to Udiapur you are overshooting Mt Abu, adding another 4+ hour bus journey to the trip!

Here are a couple of morning options

9105 HARIDWAR MAIL AHMEDABAD JN 09:50 ABU ROAD 14:00
Daily

9223 ADI JAT EXPRESS AHMEDABAD JN 11:10 ABU ROAD 15:12
Daily

Thanks for the responses. Really appreciated. Does anyone have any idea about the timings of luxury buses plying between Ahmedabad and Abu?

A pure guess.....

From 6 in the morning, till about 6 in the evening, and likely a bus every hour (if not more).

Luxury bus around 8 in morning, fare around 160 per person.

Better option hire a taxi from airport straight to Mt. Abu. charge around 800 full cab. That way you reach in morning, get a hotel sleep few hours and enjoy rest of the day by the lake (Shikara type boat ride!), take few snaps, next day take a bus tour of Abu. If you go by train you still need taxi or bus from Abu road to Mt. Abu (2 Hours). Do not miss Jain temple in Mt. Abu. From Mt. Abu buses ply to Udaypur. From Udaipur to Ahemdavad you have wide choices. Good Luck
