In Ahmedabad for Makar Sankranti - Do we need to book ahead?
Hi there,
My girlfriend and I are in Ahmedabad on the 13th and 14th of January next year, do we need to book a hotel in advance because of the festival? We'd be looking at a budget of 700rs. Neither of us have phones and we're paranoid to ring from the office as we're working our notice so it'd be less hassle to book as we go here.. Any advice you've got would be appreciated ![]() |

You should have no problem finding a hotel once you arrive in Ahmdabad. There are tons of hotels in and around Ahmdabad.
