hey everybody...

ok i may be a little late in posting this thread to make plans for the jan 26th weekend... but still..

i wanted to visit the sun temple in modhera and patan probably. i thought it might make sense to base myself in mehsana vs. ahmedabad. i see the water world resort in mehsana, but was hoping for something more economical but also safe. any ideas?

also, anyone else out there having similar plans for the jan 26th weekend?

Hi,

There are lots of staying options available in Mehsana.

Are you going to be coming in from Ahmedabad or some other location...? it'd be easier to plot your route..

Mehsana has good options..

The water park.
Hotel Highness (just before entering Mehsana)- approx Rs.600 + for rooms
Hotel Sahara Bridge (on the mehsana-abu highway) - approx 800+

and a few smaller hotels too... do let me know if you want additional info / help ... i work in Mehsana only
