Diwali in Gujarat
Namaste IMers,
I'm looking forward to being in Gujarat during Diwali (I believe it is October 28 this year) and would appreciate suggestions of places where the festival might be even more special -- Also, just a note to say how much I appreciate IndiaMike.com --thanks to all. |

Hi Cameo,
All of gujarat would be lighted up Diwali time ![]() If you want to hear lots of crackers.. then the bigger cities would be fine.. and if it's peace of lights that you prefer with then the smaller towns / villages would be best.. It's the festival of lights after all..!! Hope that helps...

Thanks Jay J for the Diwali comments. Also I checked out the links to your travel pages and photos -- must have been great to ride your bike through such spectacular scenery --
