Diu in April?

I am planning to visit Diu for 2-3 in early April (Good Friday weekend actually) and want to know if it would be too crowded? Not that I mind crowds as such, but would getting accomdation be a hassle?. Should I pre-book?
And are buses (night buses, sleeper buses) from Ahmedabad OK?

We went to Diu on a weekend in February and it was fine. Greater number of Gujus there for the purpose of getting toasted before lunchtime than is probably usually the case, but they were pretty well behaved and lots of friendly and jovial family groups. We didn't pre book, we rocked up and got a room at a central hotel near the market square (Hotel Samrat). We got a sleeper bus from Ahmdavad and that was fine. Took a couple of hours longer due to the unscheduled stop very early in the morning for the bus to undergo a change of tyre. Just meant a couple more hours of peaceful sleep for us passengers

Not sure whether Easter weekend would result in higher numbers of crowds?

Thanks a lot. Is it better to go by sleeper bus or rather
taken the night train to Veraval and then a bus (takes 1.5 hrs, I read somewhere here). For we have small child and a bus might be inconvenient.
