Diu- around 25 August

I'm currently travelling around Rajasthan. Gujarat, and more specifically, Diu, is next on my list.

I have a couple of questions about my proposed arrival date. I can possibly put this back a little, if any responses suggests this would be appropriate.

I intend to hire a bike, spend some time chilling on the beach reading a book, do some fishing, and maybe have a few quietish beers in the evening. So basically, spend a week or 2 relaxing after the delights but occasional stresses of Rajasthan!

I know we're still in Monsoon season. As we're towards the backend of it, could I reasonably expect some good weather? Rain and cloud isn't a problem, providing it doesn't last all day every day..

Also, although I want to escape the hoardes to some extent, I'm not the type that's comfortable with the feeling that I'm the only person there. So, are there likely to be a few people around at this time?

Thanks.
