Distance from Center of Ahmedabad

Can anyone provide me with the approximate distance from the train station in Ahmedabad to the Karnavati Club Limited
Gandhinagar-Sarkhej Highway? How is it it to get there from the center of Ahmedabad?

Thank you,
Larry

Correction to my last post- the message should have read-- How EASY is it to get there from the Karnavati Club to the center of Ahmedabad and vice versa?

Thank you,
Larry

...Ahmedabad is a nice city...a really typical indian_muslim city...the old city is reallly-really nice...there is anight market where you can eat traditional food and socialize with the local people...
I 'm sure that reaching the train station has no logistical problems for you...you'll find taxis and rikshaws everywhere at every hour...it's a big city...the only problem is how long you spend to reach it from an peripherical spot like your hotel...but i think more than 40 minutes it won't take
....i think the biggest problem of staying in an hotel outside the old town is that you won't really enjoy a city like Ahmedabad...because the difference between old town and "new town" is enormous....the "new town areas" are really vast(extende
in area)...and have not a lot to offer...like in all the cities of the world....on the other hand the old town doesn't offer LUXUS that this hotel you have to stay....perhaps choosing a hotel nera old city or in the old city would be more interesting
for knowing something about old Ahmedabad and his fantastic social life....in few words LESS CONFORT FOR MORE KNOWLEDGE...
if you'll stay in this hotel don't be scared to take a rickshaw at late evening time to reach old town, nothing will happen to you and you'll experience the real AHmedabad

Hi,

The distance is approx 12-15 kms. Will not take you more than 45 mins to 1 Hr during peak traffic. IF you are want to be really safe in catching a train, keep 1.5 hrs.

There's a travel desk at Karnavati club, so getting a cab wont be a problem and for autos you just might have to walk about a km or 2 to reach Isckon circle...!!
