Delhi to Diu
I would like to make my way to diu when I am in india later on this year, I am still a un-experienced traveller and I was wondering what is the easiest way by train to diu?
I know it can be done in small steps but I would like to get there as quick as possible avoiding changing trains, buyig tickets etc etc. Maybe a train to some place near then bus/rickshaw to diu? Any advice please? |

Travel by train from New Delhi to Rajkot. You have a choice of three direct trains from ND, two on a Sunday and the third on a Monday.
The most convenient is the Uttaranchal Express, originating from Dehra Dun and leaving New Delhi every Sunday at 13=40 and reaching Rajkot at 12=27 the next day. From Rajkot, Diu is approx. 6 hours by bus.
