City Guest House, Bhuj - avoid!
I don't usually post negative reviews on hotels and guest houses unless something is badly wrong but I just received an email from a friend who stayed there very recently. This is what she said about it
"The city guest house unfortunately has gone down hill though in Bhuj. The room was absolutly filthy- I made them change the sheets which were covered in dirt and clean the toilet that had shit in it (which had been there for well over a week the places last guest had checked in 3 weeks prior to me)- the bathroom was very dirty in general" When we stayed there 7 years ago it was a popular and well maintained place. I can only think that with a drop in business since the earthquake the guys who run it have just given up. If you would like a similarly priced place in the old city area of Bhuj, I would now recommend the Gangaram Hotel |

Well Alan, as you said Earthquake hit the worst in this area, people still cant recovered from it, I know that very well because i do belong to that place. you can try Hotel Prince and Hotel Anam near ST bus station area, these two are quite good option to stay...
