Ahmedabad, place to stay?
Has anyone stayed at Hotel Rupali or Hotel Natraj? They both listed in the Lonely Planet guide. I am trying to find a place to stay that is reasonable. Any advice would be appreciated.
I am going to Ahmedabad tomorrow evening and I will arrive around 630 am. Is the train station close to centre? |

Hi,
None of these hotels are of good quality. I suggest you stay away.
Inform me of your budget and I shall suggest you better options. I live in a town nearby to ahmedabad and have done my college in ahmedabad so I am quite familiar to the city. Bye |

Thanks for your input. I will only be in Ahmedabad for two nights. I'm on my way to Udaipur.
My budget is around 400/500 rupees or less. This will be my first hotel experience in India. I'm at a mate's place in Navi Mumbai. I will be in India for two more months. |

Check This Out
1) Hotel Excell
Ph: 22146433 / 22114271 2) Hotel Sabar Ph: 22114400 / 1 / 2 These are better hotels than the ones you had inquired for. Again they are located very near to the Railway Station. Moreover I suggest you to book the room in advance so that you don't get disappointed. They offer A/c rooms for about Rs. 500/-. |
