6 hours break in Veraval , What to do???

Hello, I am planning to take the overnight Somanth Express from Ahmedabad to Veraval on 18th May. I will arrive in Veraval at 620 in the morning.

Ideally i would like to take the train to SasanGir, from Veraval, since i have heard the train goes thru the forest and is enjoyable. But this train is at 1325.

What do i do for the approx 6 hours break?

Is there anything to see in Veraval besides the coast? Will it be too hot to travel?
Is the Somnath temple nearby?

Any help / advice much appreciated.

Also i will be travelling with my father so cant do anything too hectic.

Yes, you may take an auto rickshaw for three hours and visit all the important places at Somnathjee including Somnath Temple.

The driver would be charging around 150 to 200 for the whole trip and would be dropping you at Veraval station.
