What's Palolem like this year ?

Hi all, have been looking at the threads on Goa recently and came accross one which seemed to say that Goa in general has changed this year, has anyone been to Palolem recently and could they let me know what it's like in comparison to other years ?

I spent 6 months in India a few years ago and went back to Palolem last March for a holiday, am trying to book a flight for March of this year but want to be prepared .

Heard there isn't much accomadation, problems with the government giving out licences again ? Also alot more hassle than other years ?
