Weather during June through August
I am thinking of spending time in Goa during June through August. How "bad" is the weather? Is it really hot? Does it rain all day?
Thanks, Andy |

That is well put. It depends on your luck with the weather gods. If its nice it showers for awhile then shines. If not its gloomy or raining 24..

Hey Andy?? Are you in Goa yet? Can you give us an update on the local weather there? Have the monsoon rains arrived and if so, has it been raining everyday or just in the afternoons? I am arriving early July & can't quite make up my mind as to whether to pack the speedos or the rain boots????? Is long-term accommodation pretty easy to find, as has been suggested on other blogs?

Accommodation will not be a problem but the rainfall is very heavy in early July.

Based on useful info from this forum, I decided to put off going until later. Heading to Thailand first.
When does it start to get more pleasant (clear'ish skies and moderate temperatures)? Mid August? Thanks, Andy |
