Waxing!!!
As I'll be away for two months in Goa and then Kerala I need to give some thought to hair removal as I do not want to shave any areas of my body!
Is it easy to find places that offer waxing? Or, even the posher hotels that take appointments for non-residents? Really important one for the ladies! Cheers |

If you really must put yourself through that stuff to remove a natural part of your body then --- posher hotels may well have beauty parlours and may well accept non-residents on a quiet day.
If not, ask the receptionist of your place to recommend a local parlour. Even Indian women put themselves through this nonsense!!!! (don't mind me, I always post this sort of stuff on this sort of thread: don't think I've made any converts, though. Yet )

Thats cos you're a bloke!!!
Trust me when I say waxing is a 1000% better than shaving, well we won't go into it, but with two months away I will be needing some attention! I was thinking you'd find places but just wanted to check on it! Cheers again! |

There are many many beauty parlours in Goa. You won't have to search very hard.

Threading is much better than waxing, easier on the skin, even the smallest hairdresser's can do it for you. One of the delights of India, all these personal services are so reasonable. Better get any streaking or highlighting done at home though, only the really euro places can do anything more than a henna rinse.

Thought I'd post a reply to the thread I started last year. For any ladies going to Goa there are so many options for beauty treatments, waxing, etc.
I loved the threading and would recommend it to everyone - I even talked my husband into having it!!! The waxing was excellent to. |
