Travel To Palolem

Hi, could anyone give me an idea of how far it is from Candolim to Palolem, also what is the best method of getting there.
Would it be taxi or bus, and how much would it cost.

Many thanks, I will be in Candolim on the 11th for 2 weeks - can't wait

From Candolim to Palolem is about 80 km. Going by bus will take you around 2.5-3 hours. You will have to change the bus at Panjim and then again at Margao. A taxi will cost you about Rs 1100.

Hi i just heard back from driver. he says from Candolim to Palolem will take about 2 hours and cost 1500 rupees.

Thanks for the reply, just missed your post though. We got to Palolim for 1200 Rupees - what a big disappointment.

If dog toilets are your thing then Palolem is your place - what a sh*t hole....

If blue plastic roofed sheds are your thing then Palolem is your place.

It is wall to wall flea pits - do yourself a favour & go elsewhere.

This is just my opinion of course, but my god I was glad to get back to Candolim...
