train ticket reservation from goa to bangalore

Hi ppl..

am planning for a visit to goa in early may..
for the return journey, i wanted to book my tickets by train..
i know of a train,vasco-bangalore link express(tn no.02779).However i am unable to do booking via the internet..
it is giving me an error message.
from what i checked, it is there all days a week and since advance reservation period is 3 months now, i should be able to book for early may now but i am unable to.
please help out.

There is also another yeshvantpur biweekly train to goa..apart from these 2,are there any other trains on the bangalore-goa route?? even trains passing thru these stations will be fine..

No time to check, but I'm 99% sure the train you mention is a 'special' train and stops running in March (I think), hopefully the railways will introduce the train on a perminant basis.

There is also a train from Vasko/madgaon to Chennai, it goes via Yesvantpur, but only runs one day a week.
