I have not stayed there but people who have been there have had good things to say about it. The location is not too bad.

Hi We Have Stayed At The Ticlo Resort Twice , The First Time It Was Very Basic But Clean .the Staff Were Brilliant And Made You Feel Very Welcome . The Second Time Was In April 2004 We Thought It Needed To Be Painted Ect Although It Was Clean And There Was Still Some Of The Original Staff There .they Really Do Try To Make Your Holiday A Good One .it Is Central For Baga And Candolim . If It Is Your First Time In Goa I`m Sure You Will Enjoy It .you Must Also Use The Taxis To Take You Further North To Morjim , Mandrem And Arambol Especially If You Want To Chill Out .

I just go a call from my family members, they are staying at Ticlo resort and would be returning tomorrow. They are paying Rs.800 for three persons, one is a room with double bed and in another room they have a single bed.

They are quite satisfied with the service and standard of the place and are quite surprised by the rates that they have been offered...infact they cross checked to verify if there are any charges that might surprise them when they checkout...however they have been told its Rs.800 flat with no hidden charges/cost..

Food in the restaurant used to be awful .But it has a great swimming pool and your right in the center Calangute .great spot to be as you can walk to the steps on to the beach or walk to catch a bus .
