I would have to agree with opoponax. I have been to Palolem about half a dozen times and I have never booked any acco in advance.
Bhakti Kutir is just off the beach and the last time I checked, it costs around Rs.1000 a night. It might be more during December though. Apart from this, there are some quieter options towards the end of the beach, closer to Colomb - Bridges & Tunnels, Neptune Point etc. On the beach, we loved staying closer to Papillon. There was a particular shack called Sea Sakshatakar, which served some delicious food. I could dig up some numbers, if you want. I guess they'll be closed now, but you can probably book around October/November. Patnem is much less 'active', but definitely much quieter. |
