The Beir Mar hotel , Baga
Hello i am going to Goa again in 2 weeks and staying at the Beir Mar hotel in Baga.
Has anyone stayed here before, or knows much about it as when i try and find information on the internet i cant really find much. Also, where is its location? I have heard it is near the Ronnil Beach Resort. Is the Beir Mar on the same side as the road as the Ronnil? I know where Subway is, and the road where Bernards restaurant, and leading to the colonia santa maria hotel is. Nicola |

Hey there,
Actually my mates have just arrived on the 9.30 flight to Goa from LGW this morning and have just settled in, once again, at the Beira Mar. They've been there every year for the past 11 years. It's in Baga, not at all far from the beach - I haven't personally been there and apparently it's basic, but ok (guess it must be) and cheap (I think they pay about 20 sterling a night (for the two of them) but they have been going there for over ten years (if that would make a difference, I suspect it might) I believe you have to book as it is popular. Hope you find someone who knows it a little better than the non-information I've given you ;_0 (it was just a coincidence to find your post the day they arrived there!). there's nothing much on the Net as they dont have their own website at all. Cheers :-)

My friend stayed there last year and I visited her quite a bit. Very very basic - more like a 2 *. close to the beach and to baga road where alot of action is. Its just after the turning for baga road coming from Calangute. Try looking up direct line holidays I know they go there and thay have a few photos 4 u - enjoy!!

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...-Baga_Goa.html Looks basic, but most hotels are in Goa.Its in a good spot,as it looks like you can walk to the beach and clubs. |

-Hey guys
I stayed there for 2 years ago, its very basic 2 * hotel, very quiet at night but if you stay at grownfloor you might expect to have a visit of small insects at night! and you can hear your neghbour talking from your room (if I havent been unlucky and got badroom) but the staff is nice like other hotel. |
