yeah, you'll be able to get a car to anywhere you want - I know a guy who got a car to take him from the hills to mumbai - cost him at least £300 but he had numerous offers.
no idea how much this ride would be, but put a tender out and see what offers you get... |

Hi Dabs..I used to travel on this route nearlly 7-8 years back..So no idea regarding the travel cost..It would take nearlly 4 hrs...
Belgaum to Londa is 50 or 60 kms...1 hr 30 mins Londa to Panjim 2 hrs 30min .. or Goa to Belgaum 4 hrs.. |

I'd say that a four hour taxi ride would cost somewhere in the region of 4-5000 INR, depending on how many travellers, luggage, and the vehicle. though like I said, put the tender out for a few days and see what comes back...
might be an idea not to use an official 'tourist vehicle'/taxi, but the friend of a friend, who would more than likely be a alot cheaper, and may well have a much nicer vehicle... |

whilst you're in goa, you may find yourself frequenting the same bar/shop/restaurant. as you get friendly with the barman/owner/waiter, let them know that you're after a car.
alternatively, use the same taxi driver for rides around goa - he'll probably give you his phone number. this way local trips become cheaper, you can mostly book them for any time you want, and then they are less likely to over-quote you for your trip. i's still put the tender out to a few different drivers though, and see what you're quoted... good luck! |
