Taxi Goa to Gokana

Greetings,
please could you advise on cost and how to take a taxi from Goa international airport to Gokana leaving at 1600hrs, avoiding scams but tipping generously.

Really a Taxi to Margao Train Station would be the best option (do a search for
"taxi prices Goa Airport Margao Railway" on Google,

or I'm sure someone on here can point you to a thread with prices on...

Then get a train from there to Gokarna, VERY cheap in comparison, a TAXI would be very expensive all the way, I think the train might just cost a few hundred rupees

Thanks Rob but the train From Margao leaves at 13.00 we arrive in Goa at 13.50.The train would be fine except for the timings.

There is also a passenger train from Madgaon to Gokarna leaving at 15:10.

The KR1 passenger train leaves Madgaon on platform 3 at 15.10 and arrives at Gokarna road at 17.02.

Should be around 40 Rs one way.
