Taking the Konkankanya Express Train from Goa to Mumbai

Hello,

I will be in Goa late December and have a 12:30am departing flight from Mumbai. I will be flying from New Delhi down to Goa and would like to take the train from Goa to Mumbai. I heard the Konkankanya Express train is the best and would like to take this up to Mumbai. How do I do this? More importantly, how do I successfully reserve a ticket? I'm currently in Singapore.

Hi Doug
I booked the same train yesterday on the internet. It leaves at 6pm and if you go to the Indian rail website, click on plan my journey(or something like that) and type in the codes of your departure and arrival destination -MAO-CSTM (I think). I found the payment section a bit confusing but figured it out after a few goes. I think you can only use the site between certain hours. It stops working for a few hours at 6PM GMT.

I tried booking the Goa-Mumbai train but received the above. How does i-ticket work if I am outside India? I'm currently in Singapore. Would they deliver it to Singapore? Also, the status of the train is "WL 1/WL 1" so is there even any chance to board this train?

If unsucessful in booking this train tickets becuase of W/L then there is one more train Matsyagandha Express. This leaves Madgaon (MAO) @ 8.30 PM & reaches Kurla Terminus (LTT) (A suburb of Mumbai)@ 5.30 - 6.00 AM.
