| Member | South Goa - Agonda or Palolem?? Dear All, India mike is so great because of generous contribution from all experts and experienced. I hope my question does not irritate some of you. I want to stay in South Goa on 16,17,18, and 19th of this month. 4 nights and 5 days........U think that the time allocated is more than required to see and rather to have a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Now, I have a Goa map and it shows agonda and Palolem just next to each other. But, I m not decided yet where we are staying.......what u think? which one is better to stay n move around when required........especially I want to visit old goa.....so, how easy it is to travel from these two places.....in terms of frequency and cheap transportation...... I appreciate any information on the topic, even if it is remotely connected but about Goa. Thanx!! |

| I guess you don't have your own transport, so Palolem is the place where you can find more options for transport. Actually, Chaudi a few km. from Palolem is the place where theres many buses, taxis, rickshaws. Agonda is more secluded and tranport options are very limited. As far as 4 nights-5 days enough for a relaxing stay with a trip to Old Goa, well sure. Why not! But more is always better. ![]()
