Self Driven Cars in Goa.

Hi ,
Me and my friends(8 of us exactly) are planning visiting Goa on 1st-5th of June. We too were searching for a self driven car(Qualis or Innova), after a lot of searching we found one that offers a A/C Innova @2000 Rs + 4.5% tax.

The tariff for a 800 as quoted was
Maruti Car Non A/c INR 900/ day

Maruti Car A/c INR 1000/ day

and a security deposit cheque of INR.5000, which wont be encashed.

Below is the address and contact numbers hope this helps.

Hi,
this is prashanth actually
What you said about the cheque's did make us think again, though what my friends say is that its safer than using our credit cards. The cheque have to be drawn in favour of their registered company Goa2u.com. They promised us that our cheques wont be enchashed even in case of a major accident(They have personal insurance cover on all the cars).

Some good things we noticed about their service are.
  • They Free delivery within city limits and airport.
  • The Vehicles are fully insured including Personal Accident Insurance.
  • They have promised to provide us road maps.
  • The tariff is fixed.
  • Cars are provided on a contract of 250 K.M/day and for every extra Km they charge just INR 3.75

If you do find a better service provider, Please do let us know
The traveler sees what he sees, the tourist sees what he has come to see ;) :)..

That s a local rivalry between north and southgoa taxi unions !! you hire car in baga use it there and maximum to panji dont venture into clova or palolem with it!!! I could help you with a few number s for such rental s pm me if you wish but all come with the NORTH GOA ONLY tag !!

So we can assume that is booked up for the next 32 years?

People have been posting on here that Activas should be rs250 (joke) and Enfields rs500 (bigger joke), and this clearly stated during monsoon!

Can I crave the moderators forgiveness for a moment at a bit of text-speak?

Those prices? LMAO

(several times)

Very much a case of an over-supplied market doubling its prices in response......

Imbeciles

Its still not booked as he operates on his own & does not have any Travel agency. He just got a Wagon R, so if you book direct from him the charges would be as i mentioned in the above post Rs. 600-700 & if the same booking is routed through an agent then obviously you would have to pay more

Thanks VB.
Had talk with Anthony just now.
I am hiring two wagonR from him @700 /day.
but i wanted the cars to be delivered at train station and picked up from airport or two different dates. All travel agencies charges to pickup and delivery. i am trying to bargain on that.He is not even asking for any security.
I hope cars and Anthony turns out to be good.
Thanks again

I hired his Wagon R in the month of Aug 2009 & the meter reading showed 5000 kms only (actually it was a new car). I think it would be fine. Have a nice trip though

One more thing - He even delivered the car at the airport & picked it up from the airpot only.
