What license is required to use a scooter? I read somewhere that you only need a car drivers license but will I need an International Drivers certificate?

Thats right mate, you need an international driving permit, here in the UK they cost around £5 so well worth the hassle of dodgy coppers giving out dodgy fines. Also you don`t need a crash helmet but if carrying passengers they do need 1, also if you do get stopped YOU BORROWED THE BIKE from a friend and not hired it as that is illegal .
