Running routes Goa

Does anyone know any decent running routes in Candolim area, the beach is good at low tide but just lately the beach is out and the main Candolim to Baga road is not too nice with buses etc, if anyone knows some routes even out of Candolim area as I can use scooter to get there and run around and scoot home.

Cheers

No running routes as such in that area but what you can do is head to the Sinquerim plateau where Fort Aguada(not the hotel) is located and you will find that there is no traffic whatsoever at this time of the year and lovely breeze which will make jogging very enjoyable.

The other alternative is to take your scooter and head to the Panjim gymkhana ground in Campal near Miramar and you can join several other people who walk/jog around the stadium every morning.

Running routes in Goa

Yes I have ran around helipad and fort area but i like a variety of routes, there is a jogging park in Althino top of Panjim hill but its a bit too far to go the commute would be longer than the actual run, will try looking around countryside towns ie Pilerne Saligoa etc, would be ideal if Goverment made a promanade along the coast road free of traffic but aint that wishful thinking.

Behind my house in Pilerne there is a beautiful area where you can easily walk/run for two hours; no traffic, almost no people, the occasional cow, lots of peacocks and other birds. Everyday we walk with the dogs there.

Once you are on the top of the hill there is an amazing view over Saligao Church and the sea at the back. On the other side you can see the radio towers of Panjim.

Let me know if you want me to show you.
