Renting in Goa
Hi guys,
Looking for a 2 bed place to rent in Goa. Near Mapusa or in that area. Not too far away or maybe even in the Baga area. I don't want to pay over 15k (rupees) that they try and charge. Anyway I would like a fully furnished place. I did email a guy and in his reply he got my name all wrong and also he quoted I wanted 6 months. I said I wanted 8 months. His price was 8k. So was good. As I continued to read he didn't want me to rent as he want 6 months in advance - which I would have paid - but he thought I wanted to stay for only that period of time. I have just replied and just said 'well as you don't want my custom I will continue my search.' What actually annoyed me and made me reply like this was him not reading my email properly! Anyway, does anyone have any good contacts? Regards Richie |

never ever x 10 pay in advance pay only monthly when you arrive,
I wouldnt say there are a lot of con artists in India But I have been in Goa for 11 months and I wouldn't pay for a coffee in advance and that would be after checking the price first  Lez |
