Rent a rickshaw?

Does anyone know if it's possible to rent a rickshaw (self drive) in Goa?
I want to get around with my Mrs, I'm crap on a motorbike, to unfit for a push bike and love rickshaws (2nd best way to travel in India).

Ta in advance.

You usually don't get a rickshaw for self drive. Besides, very unlikely you would have a license to drive a 3 wheeler either. It will have to be a two-wheeler or a car, but self driven cars can be expensive.

Just take the rikshaw driver along, he won't be much of a bother, and will stop exactly where and when you want. If overnight stay is involved, just give him some money for a hotel and his food. We did this on some occasions and it worked out fine, it's fun.

But I believe in some places there are regulations about rikshaws and the distances they are allowed to go outside their base, so that might be a problem.

Well we managed to go in a rikshaw around Ooty, which is pretty hilly! including up to some "suicide point" (we had some problems going uphill but it worked out in the end...although maybe the driver swore to never do it again )
