India Post has various methods for posting to the UK.

You can normally find them at www.indiapost.org, but the web site is down today!

Example prices are:

200g Sample & Small Packet Air Mail Registered Delivery Advice Required Rs.102
400g Sample & Small Packet Air Mail Registered Delivery Advice Required Rs.171
800g Sample & Small Packet Air Mail Registered Delivery Advice Required Rs.295
1000g Sample & Small Packet Air Mail Registered Delivery Advice Required Rs.335
1200g Sample & Small Packet Air Mail Registered Delivery Advice Required Rs.420

This service normally takes 14 to 16 days to the UK.

No duty or VAT is payable on gifts to the UK valued at UK £ 36 or less.

There are other postage, such as EMS Speed Post which are quicker and more costly.

Couriers such as DHL are more expensive again, and can take up to 14 days for their 4 to 5 day guaranteed service.

Surface mail takes around 3 months to arrive in the UK and is a lot cheaper than Air Mail.
