Schools
Where we live in Goa in the winter (near the Obsourne Hotel/Luma Supermarket) there are quite alot of European children who go to the local schools. They are aged from about 6yrs and when we hear them playing outside in the evening they speak in Konkani and English and seem to have integrated well with the local children.
I remember reading a large advert on the window of Luma Supermarket which was for a private school in the area run by Europeans and thinking it was very expensive (in Goan terms and European) for a school. If you are not going immediately I could find out for you but we will not be there until the first week in Novemer. |

thanks for your post its very helpfull. We are probably not going until December and that will only be for a look to see what's available so it would be great to get any information on schools before hand.

hi there
thanks to everyone for the help, sorry i have not replyed before now ,but my pc has been playing up . we are planning to move out there in about a years time,so still plenty of time to sort things out. we would ideally like to move to south goa but if the best schools are in the north then thats where we will have to go. we are hopeing to go out there in december around new years and try and get some things sorted,we are looking for flights at the moment so if anyone knows of anywhere to find a cheep flight over xmas please tell me as we have been looking for ages.the flights seem to get more expensive every year. if i find out anymore on schools i will post to let you all know once again thanks ![]() |
