Planning for Goa Sept 1st- 5th.Need suggestions

I'm planning to visit Goa in september 1st with my wife. First we thought about Manali. But now we are considering Goa. I'm from Bangladesh by the way. It's monsoon....so we're little skeptic how Goa will be in this season. My wife has semester break in September so we have no other option to go some other time of the year


Now, i need suggestion that where to go actually....as there are so many beaches, places like North Goa, south Goa etc and we have no idea.

I've visited web site of 'O Pescador resort' near Dona Paula...looks quite good.Have anyone visited the place? I may stay 3days there and some other place for another 2 or 3 days. One thing i didn't like from the images that Dona Paula's beach looked kinda dirty with dark water. But O Pescador's room with both the pool and the sea view looked fabulous.

Baywatch resort at Colva beach and Lemon tree at Candolim (may be) looked good too.I'm looking for good, clean room with clean bathroom, pool and places around the resort or hotel to eat. My budget 1200-1800 per night.

Experts please suggest something and make my trip memorable.

Hi, i can only comment on the Lemon Tree in Candolim as i stayed there last year in September..It is a really nice hotel, clean, great pool, great staff, good restaurant (although a little pricey)..

There is not alot going on in the area in September though..but it is a great place to chill out!!
