Have just booked flights to Goa for Feb 2009 for 11 nights, travelling with my boyfriend. We are thinking to start in North Goa (Baga/Anjuna etc) ending in the South, Palolem/Cola Beach. Have managed to get lots of info from this site with regards to beach huts, but am not sure where to stay to start with. We like the idea of beach huts/tents etc and like a bit of life. Love markets and food!! Want to mix with the locals and sample the local foods. My partner would love a fishing/boat trip and I love to shop. Any recommendations??
