Palolem shanty town
IMO what spoils Palolem most is not the beach huts as such, but the way most of them (along with the restaurants etc) are covered with ugly blue tarpaulins. It makes the place look like a slum.
Do they take these off for the tourist season?

Agreed Timmy!
They are getting better though, more and more of the huts are now laying palm fronds over the tarps to camoflage that ugly blue!! |
