Sharon.
forgot to ask me my other reply. We are definitely interested to go. Hope you can send some pics. Could you give me some idea of what you paid for the 'room'? What was the food like in their restaurant? Was it reasonably priced? I had a look at their site. Looks as though all toilets/showers are shared but they said they will have a couple of new huts by 2006 with en suite. do you know if they were ready at all? Any fans in the rooms? cheers. Pete |

Safe Parking for Car near Ordo sounsar
Hi,
WOuld there be a safe place to park the car and walk to the Ordo sounsar I'm reaching goa on the 8th and would be driving straight to Pepper Valley resort for the first 2 nights. From there i intend to go to Bhakti Kutir or this new place Ordo sounsar. So somebody please let me know if there would be a safe place to park the car and walk to Ordo sounsar. Also if somebody is going to be in palolem maybe we could meet up... I'm there from 8th to 12th perhaps. Styler |

Hi all,
I came to goa, palolem back in 2004 for a 6 week holiday and low and behold i,m still here 1 year 2 month,s later can,t get away from the place like so many other people, so i,ll try and answer some of your questions on palolem so styler there are many places you can park your car safely your be staying in a small rocky beach next to palolem (5 min walk) a place called colomb very quiet place (beware if you want to swim here the locals use the sea here as a toilet no2,s)which is sandwiched between patnem and palolem both are nice beaches and offer something different from eachother things to do in palolem theres a place called the alpha bar that is open everyday but most people usualy go on saturday as it,s open mike there,s titanic on a monday ex ub40 band member singing manly regae knows how to get a party swinging famous cafe del mar open everyday 24 hours which is where most people end up towards the end of the night, sun and moon have an accoustic night on tuesday, dolphin trips shouldnt be more than 100 rups if the boats full, fishing trips, you can get pay the boat men to drop you off at a couple of the smaller beaches around monkey island, butterfly beach and honeymoon beach they collect you later, beware of the sea at honeymoon as it gets deep really fast. You can actually reach both these beaches by foot from agonda and palolem although you need to know the routes getting lost in the jungle is no fun either in the blazing heat of the day or at night so make friends with the locals if you want to take that adventure. mmmm what to say pepper valley really layed back zzzzzzzz shanty when i was there 2 weeks ago there was no one staying there but that said if you want to share some quiet time it,s a great place. . If anyone has any questions about palolem feel free to send me a personal message. ![]() |
