Yeah, I know the bridge you're tallking about - at the far end of the beach - near the rocky outcrop.
Never crossed it, look forward to knowing whats there, if anyone knows. nevilleb |

Don't go there it is where they are filming a version of lost and they have to cool the polar bears down a lot with a hosepipe to stop them attacking tourists.

Back from a wonderfull holiday
went to palolem booked into a guest house after looking at some huts which the matressess looked flea bitten, then went for a nice walk on the beach. We went over the bridge to find the most peacefull part of the beach Theres 10 beach huts all new and spotless the place looked that good we inquired if they have a hut to rent and as soon as they said yes we went back to the guest house booked out with an excuse of having to go back to candolin urgently and stayed for 3 nights the senenery is out of this world with palolem infront and jungle behind the place is called Ordo sounsar ,the owners along with the people who work there are wonderfull so if you want a chill out get your assess there you wont regret it they have a small web site www.ordosounsar.com but what they dont mention is how the jungle suddenly comes alive with monkeys swinging in the trees or the sound at night with the jungle animals and the sea waves to listen to id love to show you my pics but dont know how to shrink them to be able to get them on this web site So there you are thats whats over the bridge sharon |

Sharon,
thanks for this post. It is valuable info for first-timers like me. I will be in Goa in early March and i will definitely check Ordo Sounsar ... I was reading posts about fiercy monkeys in India and your reference to them made me wonder if "but what they dont mention is how the jungle suddenly comes alive with monkeys swinging in the trees" is something that makes this place more enjoyable or just the opposite.
