Palolem Beach
I have one week in India starting on 5th June. Ridiculously short amount of time, I know. I have to be in Mumbai on 5th June and back in Mumbai on 11th June to watch my boyfriend play rugby on both those days. In between I was hoping to fly to Goa and spend a couple of days near a beach (even if the monsoon has started) as I don't think I want to spend the full week in Mumbai. Do you think it is feasible to try and get to Palolem beach and if so can anyone tell me approximately how long it would take me to get from Dabolim airport to Palolem. If it takes a long time I guess it just wouldn't be worth it.
Does anyone have any recommendations re accommodation there as well. Many thanks |

From Dabolim to Palolem is around 1 and 1/2 hours. Taxi is about 800 rupees!
Beautiful place especially at that time of year when all the tourists have gone! |

Thanks for that. Door to door taxi for 800 rupees sounds just the thing. Cannot wait!

You will most likely have to pay a little more for the cab. Petrol prices have gone up.
