There will be plenty of accomodation available at this time, though the beach huts may not be erected as yet, there are plenty homestays which are vrry close to the beach though, so if you don't get that idylic beach hut, you'll at least get a room very close to the beach!
Palolem is excellent for swimming and by the end of September the beach should be levelling out after the ravages of the monsoon storms so no problem there. |

Most definitely!!
It looks nice, where is it, the North end of the beach???? I remember seeng the sign but I'm not sure where it is!! Sorry to be so negative I've just watched Palolem expand into every nook and cranny over the last 9 years I expect this to continue until there's no space left |

hi ya cyber
Yes its right at the north end of the beach theres a man made bridge you cross and then nothing but chill out and when the lagoon is full they supply a boat for you to paddle down and take a look theres only 10 huts but the place where its situated is just awsome and the monkeys are a real treat lol i hope that they stop some of the expansion of palolem or theyll spoli one of the worlds best beaches one of the reasons im gonna give gokarna a lookover ssharonuk |

The beaches at Gokarne are what Palolem used to look like!! Imagine if you will, a Palolem that had only four restaurants and a couple of small hotels between the Archway an the island. There was a beautiful little brick built hotel on the spit of land where cosy nook now sits, with balconies facing the lagoon and island!! Nothing else for a good 40 meters south and nothing to the north, the back drop was an empty coconut grove!! ahhh the good old days!!
