Just give me two days and I shall get the phone number and address for you. The orthopaedic surgeon is in Panjim and I can personally vouch for him.

Rtn. Dr. Deep Bhandare carries out the surgical procedures and the follow up treatment. Dr. Deep Bhandare is Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, practicing in Panaji. He takes interest in the Polio corrective Surgery. Dr. Jayant Bhandare and Dr. Shyam Talwadkar assist him and Dr. Sanjeev Juwarkar is the Anaesthetist. .. All the surgeries are carried out at Bhandare Hospital, Panaji.

that took a 30 second google search

But there's nothing like the personal touch when it comes to finding surgeons!

Hi Ron

I had cataract surgery carried out Nov/Dec at Vrundavan Hospital, Mapusa, Goa. Can highly recommend the treatment I had, not sure if they will be able to help you. Website below.

Good luck

http://www.vrundavan.com/diagnos.htm

Orthopaedic services are available round the clock with modern operation theatres and latest facilities like C arm with image intensifier, orthopedic trauma OT table with latest fracture management with closed interlocking nailing, external fixation, Ilizarow ring fixation, and facilities for nerve, tendon and vessel repair.

The orthopedic trauma team performs all surgeries including joint replacements with latest fracture management techniques.

We also have facilities for maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery in our hospital which are required for facial injuries and scar revisions.

Trauma surgeries undertaken are Acetabular fractures and pelvic fractures. All long bones fractures of femur, tibia and humerus, Plate Osteosynthesis, Management of Open fractures with bone and soft tissue loss & Arthroscopic Surgery are handled here.

The department of Orthopaedic Surgery is a major referral centre in Goa for treatment of Total knee joint replacement, Total hip replacements, Shoulder Replacement & Complex fracture fixations

ron, donlt know what your medical problem is but studies have shows that back surgeries are among the most needlessly performed surgeries, atleast here in the US. here is one related article http://www.quackwatch.org/04Consumer...rhsurgery.html
