Hello
We are travelling to Goa in November 07 and I have found this site the best for tips so far. Can anyone recommend some locations in the south and north, preferably nice beach hut/tree hut style accommodation (verandahs, hammocks etc)? A few questions: Will we need a/c in November? Should we pre-book for this time of year or will it be easy to wing it and get nice accommodation? Does anyone have links to places worth a look? We're looking for nice beach huts ideally, on beaches that are not too packed with tourists but not a million miles away from the action. Planning on a week in the north and a week in the south. So far I am thinking Palolem (too touristy?), Patnem, Agonda in the south and Morjim, Mandrem, Chapora in the north. Budget no more than 2000-2500 rupees per night in total for the pair of us. Any advice on the above or new ideas would be greatly appreciated Thanks! Last edited by machadinha : Sep 16th, 2007 at 23:19. Reason: post brought back to normal size and color |
