Nice place on Palolem?
I am heading to Palolem next week for 10 days. Does anyone have a beach hut place they would recommend? Would like it to be clean, have a bathroom, and be close to beach.
Any recommendations? Thanks! ![]() |

There upwards of 100 camps that have what you're looking for. As recommendations can sometimes be subjective I suggest getting there dumping your pack/suitcase in a restaurant and having a look at what suits you!!

I didnt stay there but was in there most days during March. Great bunch staying there. Maybe becoming a victim of its popularity. On 2 nights the kitchen closed early and you often have to reorder your meal because they forget. Another bar that has stopped stocking large bottles of Kingfisher in favour of more profitable smaller ones. But hell there are plenty of reasons to like it. Must be the only place where the cats outnumber the dogs.

Crazy Nook
We arrived in Palolem yesterday and went to Crazy Nook.
The double room we're in is 600 rupees. basically, it's a hut on stilts, inside of which is a large tent with the bed. the room is fairly spacious. the bathroom is ensuite with shower and western style toilet. all v clean. though people were offering rooms for 400 rupees as we walked along the beach, we're gonna stay here. it's right on the beach, though on the northern end. good cos it's quiet, not so good when you're lugging your rucksack on the beach to get to it (only 5-10 mins) Imran |

Two weeks ago, we had a beach hut with attached bath room for 150 Rs. per night. Prices vary widely.
Go around and compare prices before you choose! You can save a lot. Greetings, Mio |
