New Years in Goa - Where to stay
I am going to be spending New Years in Goa. I would like to stay at a place where there is a nice swimming beach with white sand, and big swimming pool. Also, I would like to stay at a place where there will be a beach party on New Years eve. Is Indian music played on New Years eve on the beach?
Can anybody recommend any places? |

The only place that comes to my mind is Leela Palace (though I am not sure of the Indian music) http://www.theleela.com/leelagoa/home.html
Thue thing about goa is that you don't have to just stay at a hotel that has all what you are looking for. If thee swimming pool is important, find one with it. for the beach party and white sands, you can go to other beaches. |

Indian music is a big doubt... during new years atleast.. until and unless the hotel has a spl program or somthing... 5 star accomodation go for Leela or Taj Exotica.. For parties etc.. go to North Goa... Baga or Anjuna ..South Goa is more calm

Taj Exotica is undoubtedly the best property in Goa among luxury hotels.

New Years in Goa - Where to Stay
Are there any nice hotels in Goa that are on the north coast, but have white sand beaches? If not, are there on the north coast any that have swimming nice beaches?

For the pool and clean private beach(although perhaps not quite white enough in colour)where you can swim, Cidade de Goa fits the bill. There would definitely be a party on the premises on New Years eve, though the type of music would be hard to predict beforehand;given the number of Indian families who drive down from Pune and Bombay the chances are good there would be a lot of Hindi remixes belted out. In the same price range there is Radisson White Sands Resort, Goa |
