Vikaspuri. Trouble is you are going to Goa at the height of their season ,so prices are very high.
At least you have now got somewhere,and your only be in the house in th emorning at night. You will all have a great time. |

Hello, my name is Lindsay I will be traveling to Goa on the 22nd to the 2nd of Jan. I am from New York City, and will be traveling with my best friend Jordana. We are both young professionals who are looking for a great time! If anyone knows of any inside tips or good places to stay or packing or safety tips they would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Lindsau |

Vikaspuri;
Weather is quite warm. The current 5 day forecast for Panaji from wunderground is highs of 33-34C (91-93F) and lows of 21-24 C (69-75F). It should be somewhat cooler right by the ocean because of the ocean breeze but not by much. See http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/43192.html Liturner: You can use the temperatures above to guide in your wardrobe selections. Are you only going to India for 10 days and spending them all in Goa? |

Be particularly careful about credit cards getting skimmed and try using cash in most places unless it is a elite place. Security as such is quite good in Goa but New year is a horribly busy time and too many people which is the fun and also the trouble..... Don't get drunk and pass out on the beach .... Hope you enjoy your stay and have a great time ![]() |

I wouldn't go to Goa for New year's. It's insanely overcrowded then with Indian tourists, everything doubles in price. Avoid until Jan 2 at least
