new visa rules?????

hi i read today in a goan newsletter that india was getting ready to give 5 year visas multiple entry and also reviewing visa on arrival!!for 16 countries anyone heard anything???????

These visas are not proposed for UK or U.S. citizens. Ten-year multiple entry tourist visas are already available to U.S. citizens, however.
