taxis
Ive just returned from north goa, and we tended to stick with the same driver, no meter and we felt exceptionally cheap rates too!! we could have him for the day for 900 rupees, didnt seem to matter where we wanted to go, just a daily rate, and he stayed with us, tho was slightly higher for going a bit further afield, but only up to 1200 ruppees. When u consider what companies try to charge for tours etc, then its damn good value.

Sure it's good value. It's the rip-offs we don't need.
