Pls brush up your geography. Goa is clasified in north & south goa, just as India is divided into North, south, east & west.

At any point of given time, North goa is the preffered location by the "Travellers" & budget seekers, except Palolem area.

And isn't a fact that most of the 5 Star properties are located in South ? & it caters mostly to "Indian Family tourists". Please get your facts right. I have enough star hotels as my clients in south goa, & know the facts & figures.
No your quite wrong, Palolem,Colomb, Patnem, Agonda Benualim, Cabo De Rama all cater mostly to budget travelers.
There may be more budget travelers in the north because of the history of Goa but the divide you paint is completely wrong!!

Oh really?

So you mean that all the people staying in Candolim, Calangute and Baga are budget seekers. Tourists staying in Rs 3000/night rooms in these locations are "travellers" only according to you. I shall pass on these findings to the bureaucrats in the Tourism Department in Panjim.

The Goa Government will of course not dispute the in depth analysis that you have given since as you said

If you stayed for one week, you might have gotten the hut for 300rs per day..

And if you want a towel there, you must pay 20rs more.
And for toiletpaper you must pay 5rs more.

Can you believe this, how low this Goan business can go..
Guess who doesn't find Palolem attractive any longer..

Benualim: We stayed in a nice place for 300r per night at the beginning of February. I didn't see any 5 Star resorts and there were plenty of budget places.

There are nice resorts there. And alot of apartment buildings. I do like benaulim, but I would never stay more than a few days. Theres better beaches.
Though I did like to go there sometimes as they have some live music at times.

Most of the starred hotels are in South Goa. There is cheap accommodation everywhere.
