Unhappy MDLR Cancelled flight Dehli - Goa 30 Oct

hey

been planning a trip to goa and was due to flight out from dehli to goa next but the lights been cancelled, can't get thru to their office.

Has any one else experienced this? and does any one know if they would be helpful in getting other flights? or do they just leave you stranded? or is best to cancel goe (which i really don't want to do! ) and look into doing something else? travel closer to around the north?

Fly out to India on Tuesday from london and really disappointed that all my planes could be scraped! don't really want to start booking other flights and losing more money or it being tied up in refunds that i don't know if i would get back any time soon...

I guess my other question is whats to do up north? As the seconded half of our trip is to spend time in Punjab with family.

any suggestions and past experience with internal flight cancellations welcome.

I would suggest buying a ticket when you get to the airport in Delhi,i know Spice jet has two daily flights from Delhi. These tickets can also be purchased online from overseas, but if u don't want to take the risk of them cancelling, then well, u have no real alternative.A number of other airlines also fly daily services to Goa.Good luck.

Umm Dish,

Been there, Done that. MDLR has only three aircraft. If one goes offline then they cancel the Goa Sector.

Sorry to break your heart with more bad news. You are stuck on a REFUND unless you fly with them as and when they decide to fly to Goa.

The refund will take whatever extensive time that they so desire ..

So say good bye to India and look at the refund as a sudden bonus as and when it lands up. (unless you have a travel agent who did the ticketing like I did then they take care of it)

Cheers

Yet another problem with flying MDLR!

Don't worry though, they still fly with the odd scrape, its head-ons you have to worry about..................
