Have just come back from Goa, stayed at maizon, very basic, typical wedding food. If you are getting it cheap go for it, there are plenty of eating places nearby so if you dont like the food eat out. Nothing fancy about the resort but has all the basics of a resort, including a pool.

hope that helps

Hi
by wedding food I mean dal Makhani, Tandoori roti, fried rice, veg manchrian, chicken curry etc. But to be fair they also had some nice goan dishes like xacuti, vindaloo and fish curry.
Location wise its about 25-20 min walk from the Baga beach. Some basic shops are just outside the resort. Many reataurants within ten minds walk. Taxis etc can be hired. If you are willing to take a taxi or walk to Arpora and acatch a bus from there then you can get connected to most northern beaches. The hotel will also arrange for a taxi for you. The man-made lake is just passable, needs lot more landscaping IMO.

best of luck

Indic
