Madgaon : then what ??

So I have managed to get some tickets and will be reaching GOA on afternoon of 30th December.

and would be leaving on 8th of January.

Even though I have traveled a bit, however I am as new to Goa as a person can be. I have heard a lot of things, however have no clue is North Goa, South Goa, Calangute, Baga, Vagator, Anjuna..

And this would be the first time that I would be traveling Solo, and this concept is totally new to me, actually I am relying on IM to hook me up with IMers who would be in Goa at that time.

So here are few questions :

1. What I know, is that 30th Dec to 3rd Jan is the time when accommodation is at its peak, however is it still possible to get a decent accommodation ? (Shoe String Budget, however with Attached bath and TV

, I don't mind being several Kilometers of the beach, as I would be hiring a bike for my entire stay.

2. How easily would a bike be available for hire. I can do with any motorcycle 100CC to 150 CC. ?

3. And the most important part, any members who would be Goa for new years eve ?

Shashank, I will be in Goa at that time. I can get you a place for a shoestring budget in Calangute with attached bathroom although it will not have a TV. Bike also.

If you want a TV and fridge in your room it can be arranged for a small amount.
