Lucia Beach Guesthouse, Candolim

Hello every1

I was wopndering if any of you have stay in the lucia beach guesthouse in candolim, or have you heard anything about it? I have booked in there from 10th january 2005 until 15th march 2005.

I belive that it is near a bar called 10 downing street. Any info?

Don´t know about theLucia guest house other than it has been there for years, looks OK, walked past 10 Downing street last night it is very closed up.

thanks for reply! glad somebody knows where it is! I was getting worried as I have posted this on other sites and nobody has replied! as long as its clean and near beach i dont care. Thanks for your reply!

hi laura

i stayed at lucia's two years ago. v. nice, direct access to the beach and about ten/ fifteen minutes walk to the centre of candolim.

I leave for chennai on the 3 jan and will be visiting friends in candolim at the end of feb......I'll be calling on lucia and joseph.

Hi judima, thanks for your post! at last i have found somebody who has stayed there! i was worried as i havev booked in from 1oth january until 15th march!!! glad to hear that it has direct access to beach! just what we wanted!

Might see you there at end of february then? Although I know lucia is very busy with bookings! maybe an idea to email her now for a reservation!

judima, just a quick question. is lucia beach guesthouse near the taj at the end of candolim? If it is, do you know if you can use the taj's pool?

It is not near the Taj and anyway only people staying at Taj are allowed to use the pool. Even transpassing is not allowed.

See you there, my 3rd time in Goa but first time staying here but Joseph sounds very helpful and friendly. I will be with my best mate as usual leaving the family at home. Went to Si Lanka last February and I stayed in some fairly dire places with interesting wildlife.

hiya davegibson! are you flying from manchester on 3rd february with monarch? only asking because my mum and dad are going out on flight then, staying for a week (but at highland beach resort!). Me and stuart will be there from 10th january unitl 15th march! cant wait! will see you there, for kingfishers on the beach!

Hi guys

Lucia's is near the Aldeia St Rita's, the opposite end of Candolim to the Highland Beach........wouldn't bother about the Taj! See you there in February (maybe) , if I can drag myself away from the kids in Chennai.

I am flying out with Excel and do not have a clue on the carrier but it is usually Monarch. Off to France for a few days now to get Christmas booze. I usually drink Kinks beer but the odd Fenni and honey bee brandy has been know to slip down my throat.

Me and my mate will be in Tito's on Saturday night the 7th February, I will be the strange old guy in the T-shirt with Savage Dave on the front. My mate has Manic Mark on his, you can read the back if you see us ;-)
